Our Company
 Rimat SRL was founded in 1967. Originally located in the centre of the regional capital, Bari, the company moved to its current location (2,500 m² of company-owned property situated in the Bari business zone in the outskirts of Bitonto) in 1983.
The company distributes car parts to the independent aftermarket throughout the entire region of Puglia and the province of Matera. All of Rimat’s products are market-leader brands, internationally recognised for their quality and success.
Rimat SRL employs an internal staff of over 20 personnel (including an in-house Technical Expert) and has an external sales force consisting of 5 sales representatives. The company offers its customers a 360° support package, providing not only top-quality brands at competitive prices but also a large variety of other services and business solutions.
In 2000 Rimat SRL was one of the founder members of I.DI.A Group, a company made up of 10 of Italy's leading regional car parts distributors. In 2007 I.DI.A Group became the exclusive Italian member of Temot International - an organisation which unites 28 European countries with a turnover of 3,5 billion euros. Temot International is also strategically linked to AAPA, the biggest equivalent organisation in North America. I.DI.A Group has also recently created a sister-company: IDIA International, with specific yet diverse business objectives and missions.
Both I.DI.A Group and IDIA International are represented by the Point Service network - a brand which now stands for the largest network of independent car repairers on the Italian market.
As can be immediately understood from the company’s motto, Rimat SRL is intent on supporting its clients, encouraging and enabling their development and commercial success. After over four decades of operational activity, the company is now recognised nationwide as being a market leader in its business sector, a fact supported not only by the numerous national awards the company has received over the years (Bosch Sales Contest 2000, 2001, 2004, 2007; Ferodo Climbing Golden Pad 1996; Monroe Financial Director Award 1991; Monroe Sales Award 1993), but also demonstrated by its continual commercial growth and progress.
